2021: The Year in Review

As crazy as 2020 has been, you know, I’m actually kind of sad to see it go. Just kidding! Not only has 2020 been crazy for the world, but it has really been crazy for me personally. For those of you who didn’t know, I retired from the Army in January after 21 years. I was heading into the airlines to fly as a first officer, only to see that entire industry get grounded due to the China virus. I was then recalled back into the Army, and recently, retired again from the Army a second time. Crazy.

It is that time of year again for my yearly, preview of the year ahead. If you want to see my hits and misses for the year 2020, go here. [Also, I hid a message in that brief a year ago-look at the first letter of each sentence] However, I do want to highlight two of my predictions from way back in December 2019 about the year 2020; first, I predicted widespread ANTIFA attacks as if they were franchised, and second, the use of widespread voter fraud. As of the start of this writing (November 19, 2020) the election still has not been officially called. With that said, however, I do maintain my belief Donald J. Trump will win reelection, thus, my predictions are predicated on this future scenario. However, if in the miniscule chance he doesn’t, then much of what is here will still be applicable. In no particular order:

  1. The rise of regionalism. With the popularity of Trump and his populist/nationalist approach, I believe globalism around the world has been handed a stinging defeat (albeit temporarily) for the past few years. However, globalism is not dead. It will de-evolve and morph into more manageable, bite-size pieces via regionalism. I expect to see the rise of four major regional powers-

    1. CANZUK (Great Britain, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada)

    2. ASEAN (Southeast Asia)

    3. UfM (Union for the Mediterranean), Vis a Vis the Abraham Accords.

    4. CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization)

    5. Look for the rise of “10,” whether they be nations, regions, etc. (h/t Scott)

  2. Draining the Swamp. A re-elected Trump, especially after all the shenanigans of the 2020 election fiasco, will look to fundamentally reshape the US government (and her policies forever). Although this is necessary, it might be calamitous to our current structure:

    1. fundamental election reform

    2. abolishment (or serious reforming) of the CIA, FBI, NSA, and DNI

    3. The Durham Report will finally see the light of day, and it will implicate the Obama-Administration writ large, finally bringing many to justice. Side note: I believe Durham was holding off on publishing this until after the election just in case Trump legitimately lost (personal insurance).

    4. Declassification (as a form of revenge against the deep state) of many former government secrets to include UFO, extra-terrestrials, etc.

  3. Mutation. Expect the COVID-19 China-virus to mutate. This will trigger an endless series of vaccination efforts by big-pharma and globalists. While this is NOT the Mark of the Beast, I believe this is laying the foundation for it (i.e., social conditioning/acceptance/restrictions). I initially thought with a Biden victory, the left would get rid of all the COVID-19 draconian antics, but, I underestimated their love of totalitarian control.

  4. The Third Temple. There will finally be great political pressure in Israel to begin building a third temple. I expect much of Trump’s second term to be centered on these efforts-however, not sure how much of it will actually be built prior to the Gog-Magog War and the arrival of the Two Witnesses.

  5. The collapse of the US Dollar. The globalists, leftists, progressives, and democrats have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at the Trump Administration to no avail. I believe they have only two options left, an attempt on the president’s life and/or collapsing our currency. IF they are not successful in physically removing DJT from office, then they will seek to tank the US Dollar to collapse all the gains the Trump Administration has achieved thus far. Their end state? Wreck the crown jewel of Trump’s achievements, the booming economy. We would be forced to go to some new form of digital currency that may or may not be tied to a global currency

  6. Dividing asunder. Trump’s re-election will increase the polarization between liberal-urban areas, and the rest of the nation. The talks of secession and civil war will escalate. Certain states will look to break apart to become more representative of their populations. For example, California (between north and south), and Washington (eastern Washington becoming part of Idaho).

  7. Rebranding failed institutions. The Democrats officially cancel the name “Democrat.” That name has too much negative historical baggage. They will look to rebrand as Progressives or some other politically correct garbage.

  8. George Soros dies. His son takes over the global, geopolitical manipulation game.

  9. Drawdown. The US finally pulls all troops out of Afghanistan.

  10. Scandal. The 2020 elections become the biggest political scandal ever perpetrated in US history. This will consume the news of 2021.

  11. Conviction. Both the Clinton and Biden families are indicted for perjury, RICO, and treason. I also expect to see some closure on the Jeffrey Epstein/Ghislaine Maxwell case.

  12. De-monopolization of Social Media. Trump will work tirelessly to throttle back or remove Section 230 protections if they have not done so already.

  13. Far East Escalation. Looking for an angry China to rise with our increased political dialogue with Taiwan in retaliation for the China virus. The US experiences another massive major cyber-attack (by China).

  14. Global weather phenomenon. Hurricanes, tsunamis, and earthquakes will shake, rattle, and roll the earth in 2021. I expect 2021 to be more turbulent then 2020.

  15. The Great Reset? The Great Reset is put on hold until Trump is removed from office, or the US is removed as the world’s superpower. See #4

  16. The Rise of a Third Party. When DJT wins re-election, there is still a chance we lose the Senate, depending on how the Georgia run-offs go. If he continues to get serious pushback from establishment Republicans and RINOs, I expect there to be a divorce from the Republican Party and the rise of a new Patriot Party. This will effectively end the Republican Party as we know it.

  17. The Rapture of the Church. I always keep this on the list because every year is just as good a candidate as any other. I believe the 2020s (the decade) will be the decade of the final generation. Not sure if 2021 is the year, but every year we draw closer to that final moment where we go to meet the Lord in the air.

So those are a few of my “predictions” for the year. Like I say every year, I’m usually about 50-50 on my accuracy. Every year we move forward, we ultimately move forward to the fulfillment of God’s plan for the redemption of man and this planet. I pray 2021 is better than 2020, but we should expect things to continue to become more difficult the closer we draw to the end. Remember, God is still in control. As Jan Markell is often fond of saying, things are not falling apart, they are falling into place.

Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Philippians 3:17-21

Trump will not be president and that has changed the outlook for 2021 considerably. I for one have not a single clue what to expect from Biden except Bad to the power of 2.
