Pieces of the Puzzle

The bible is like a very large puzzle. As we read the scriptures we see the verses as pieces of the overall puzzle. Sometimes at night, I lie awake moving the verses i.e., pieces of the puzzle from one place to another to see if they are a perfect fit. You cannot force the pieces into places they don’t belong and you cannot have gaps after they are in place. By doing this, I have managed to come to some amazing conclusions. My number one rule is that if my interpretation of any verse makes God a liar in any other verse, it’s not God’s word that is at fault, it’s my interpretation of God’s word that is at fault. By using that rule, I have avoided a lot of confusion.

Now I have heard a lot of great theologians and eschatologists say that the rapture is an eminent event, I totally agree. But them they say that the rapture could happen up to thirty years before the tribulation. I don’t agree. The reason that I don’t agree is because we are the bride of Christ. As the bride of Christ we can expect that there would be some similarities to the weddings of two thousand years ago. The bride was chosen by the father of the groom. Christ said that; “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:44) Then the groom must pay a price for the bride. “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.” (1 Corinthians 6:20) That price was the blood of Jesus. Then the groom returns to his father’s house to prepare a wedding chamber for his bride.

Christ said; “In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:2,3) It’s the father who approves the wedding chamber and tells the son, it’s time, go get your bride. Jesus said; “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” (Matthew 24:36) The groom announces his arrival to gather his bride with the sound of a trumpet. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17)

The bride enters the wedding chamber and is not seen for seven days then she comes out and the wedding banquet begins. We know from the scriptures that the rapture is pre tribulation and the scriptures tell us that the wedding feast is at the end of the tribulation. We also know that the tribulation is seven years long. Therefore, why would we think that the similarities would cease at the rapture and that there could be any years between the rapture and the beginning of the tribulation. Seven days, seven years.

We know from Daniel 9:27 that Daniel’s 70th week i.e., the tribulation begins with the confirmation of a seven-year covenant by the antichrist with Israel and many nations. I do not believe that this confirmation will happen on the same day that millions of people are raptured to heaven. So how do we resolve the seven years that we are in heaven with the seven-year covenant if they begin on different days? It appears that the seven years of tribulation will be seven, three hundred- and sixty-day years for a total of 2520 days or two halves’ of 1260 days. We also know that when the tribulation begins, there will be sudden destruction as travail upon a woman, and they shall not escape. I have long thought that the rapture will begin seven Gregorian calendar years before the end of the tribulation since the church is predominately gentile. Seven Gregorian calendar years is 2557 days. That is 37 days longer than 2520 days of tribulation. Christ ascended to heaven 37 years before the sudden destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. Thirty-seven years, thirty-seven says. Would it not be reasonable that we would ascend to heaven 37 days before the tribulation began?

If you have read my previous article, The fullness of time, found here https://www.rev310.net/post/the-fullness-of-time-1 then you know that I believe that Christ was crucified in AD 33. And that I also believe that Hosea 5:15 through 6:1,2 gives us a timeline of when Christ will return at the end of the tribulation i.e., 2033. What I did not mention in that article is that I believe His return will be on the feast of trumpets. The reasons that I believe this is because Ezekiel 39:28 tells us that God will gather all His elect, the Jews, back to Israel in the end. I believe that this regathering is also found in Matthew 24:31. I believe this is at the feast of trumpets which I totally believe is a Jewish feast. In other words, you could say that I think that there is a strong likelihood that Christ will return at the end of the tribulation on the feast of trumpets in 2033, September 24th. Of course, this is only speculation, not a prediction.

Assuming that the above were correct, you could back up 2557 days and find the rapture on Sep. 24th, 2026. Add thirty-seven days to that to begin the tribulation and you have a very demonic day, Halloween Oct. 31st, 2026.  This day is also called Samhain according to Gary McKibben in his article found here: https://www.rev310.net/post/deconstructing-samhain  I also find it interesting that according to Gary in this article, the Fomorians (the giant race) the Nephilim in his opinion, demanded a tax of 2/3 rds. Interestingly, we know that in the last days two thirds of the Jewish people will be killed. What a coincidence that the antichrist would confirm a covenant on Halloween and reaps a tax of two thirds of the Jewish people. Then again, perhaps I am reading too much into it. From Oct. 31st, 2026, to the feast of trumpets Sep. 24th, 2033, is 2520 days.

We also know that the antichrist will break the covenant, stop the sacrifices, and enter the temple proclaiming to be God at the midpoint of the tribulation, 1260 days after the beginning of the tribulation. Jesus entered Jerusalem on Nisan 10th four days before Passover in AD 33 according to my calculations. As He rode into Jerusalem, the crowds shouted; “Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.” They were proclaiming that Jesus was the Son of God, the Messiah, God manifested in the flesh. Interestingly, the 10th of Nisan 2030 is 1260 days after Halloween Oct. 31st, 2026, and from that point until the feast of trumpets Sep. 24th, 2033, is another 1260 days. What more likely day to enter the temple and proclaim to be God than on Nisan 10th.

So let us sum this up. Assuming that Christ ascended in AD 33 and add 1,993 years to that and we have Sep 24th, 2026. Add 37 days to that and we have Halloween Oct. 31st, 2026. Add 1260 days to that and we have Nisan 10th or April 13th, 2030. Add 1260 days to that and we have the feast of trumpets Sep. 24th, 2033, exactly seven Gregorian years from the first date.

The scriptures tell us that Elijah will come before the great and terrible day of the Lord. Most theologians believe this will be Moses and Elijah who came to the mount of transfiguration and met with Jesus. The two witnesses of Revelation will have powers similar to what Moses and Elijah had. “And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, (1260 days) clothed in sackcloth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.” (Revelation 11:3,5,6) I doubt that the antichrist will dare to attempt to enter the temple until the two witnesses are overcome by the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit and kills them at the end of their 1260 days. If their appointed time begins at the confirmation of the covenant on Oct. 31st, 2026, then their time will expire on Nisan 10th.

In Matthew 24:15,16 Jesus warns those in Judah to flee when they see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place to flee to the mountains. This is the time when the antichrist breaks the covenant with Israel, stops the sacrifices and sits himself in the temple proclaiming to be God. Then he goes after the Jewish people with a vengeance in another attempt to wipe them from the face of the earth. This is also what we see in chapter 12 of Revelation. “And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.” (Revelation 12:13,14,6)

The woman who brought forth the man child is Israel, the wife of God. “For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.” (Isaiah 54:5) Interestingly, when Jesus warns them to flee to the mountains He tells them; “But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:” (Matthew 24:20) Nisan 10th 2030 is on a Saturday. Likewise, Oct. 31, 2026, is on a Saturday and the feast of trumpets on Sep. 24th, 2033, is on a Saturday.

Now for those of you who think that I am setting dates, I’m not. The fact that I think the rapture could very well be on Sep. 24th, 2026, most likely ensures that it will not be as Jesus said; “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 24:44) Still yet, if I had to choose a day that I thought the rapture would happen, it would be that date. We do know the season that we live in and we need to be ready. Share your faith everywhere you go. God bless.

Very interesting. I too think the time between the rapture and the tribulation beginning will be short. The bible is silent on the gap between the rapture and the tribulation, but logistically there must be some amount of time between the 2 events. Once the Restrainer is removed (rapture), why would Satan wait any longer than he has too to take over and why would Jesus wait any longer than necessary to delay His 2nd coming back to earth at the end of the tribulation? We're getting close regardless. Maranatha!
