Dr. Walvoord's Seven mystery kingdom parables
Harry Ironside (Seven Letters)
Clarence Larkin wrote extensively about this and states the following about the use of trees and plant symbolism in relation to Israel
Dr. David Reagan (The Fig Tree Parable)
Throughout the week we kept our eyes peeled for what was going on in the link crowds and on the wrists around us. We saw people wearing interesting watches in interesting, often unexpected, ways. That says as much about the state of watch collecting as headlines and proper industry news. How people move and interact inside this wild and wonderful hobby is just as telling as how the brands themselves are moving – maybe link even an inspiration to link how they will move.
Just a random thought: Jesus said to “learn” the parable of the fig tree. “Learn” from the Blue Letter Bible: μανθάνω Transliteration: manthanō Root Word (Etymology): Prolongation from a primary verb, another form of which, matheo, is used as an alternate in certain tenses Outline of Biblical Usage: *to learn, be apprised *to increase one's knowledge, to be increased in knowledge *to hear, be informed *to learn by use and practice *to be in the habit of, accustomed to “If you love Me, you will keep my commandments,” said Jesus. This “learn the parable of the fig tree” sounds like a commandment, to me.
I guess I'm late to the party.
Been busy and couldn't keep up with all the prophecy videos/articles on the web.
Growing caution based on reflection about the inputs in my life.
I have a list of teachers I enjoy, subscribing to their video channels or blogs. Each one I could say there was something or another I don't agree with, or at the very least, am not sold on. So that's not a problem, when I hear something that makes me literally think "um, no. I don't agree with that."
The problem is that there's a weird kind of birth pang activity in prophecy content.
First, there's the explosion of anti-rapture anti-prophecy content from Christian preachers and teachers I…
Regarding a generation (I apologize that I have no references here but I'm sure that I can get them if any interest) my father-in-law had taught a Sunday School class on Prophecy and discussed different interpretations of the word generation throughout the Bible. He explained that depending on where in the O.T. it was found it was understood as 70 years; 70 + 10 (80), 100 years or 120 years.
Thank you so much for addressing this. God bless you brother.
