In terms of the church, man.

the sentiment is of course smack-dab (i think that's appalachian for spot on) but all these nutbar progs bombard us and themselves with call and response slogans and chants constantly across every prog "cause". I'm anticipating the last (and first) Word on this war, and our country, and it can't come soon enough.

I enjoy anticipating the high watch days. I think they give us sort of goal posts on this field of what is fast becoming drudgery. You can tell I'm trudging along in concrete boots on that field from my post above, so more goal posts are not a bad thing.

Anyone else here feel as though they'd be as pleased with an earlier than planned 'departure', rapture or not? The world's last best hope is on its way out economically, culturally, etc. Each day brings another mind-war with sin, as we pray to accomplish good thru Him. It's as though the only things left that bring ANY comfort are those good things prompted by Him, done by His power. Everything else feels empty. "Vanity" I think Proverbs calls it, in reference to the majority of our earthly works apart from the will of God. I feel like I used to enjoy it (vanity) a lot more-- a good meal, a hobby, conversations, movies, nature. Occupy, never tire of doing good, suck it up and drive on.❤️🙏
